Day 1 – Journey to the South

Board our deluxe motorcoach and begin your relaxing journey to one of America's most beautiful and historic cities.

Meet fellow Dashers, enjoy the changing scenery, and let us take care of the driving as we head toward charming Charleston.

Tonight we'll stay at a comfortable overnight hotel.

Day 2 – Welcome to Charleston

Following breakfast we'll continue south through beautiful scenery before arriving in the Charleston area.

This evening we'll enjoy an included dinner before checking into our hotel, where we'll spend the next four nights exploring the history, beauty, and charm of South Carolina's oldest city.

Day 3 – Historic Gardens & Charleston Harbor

Today's adventure begins at one of America's most treasured historic plantations.

🌺 Middleton Place

Explore America's oldest landscaped gardens while strolling among magnificent oak trees, beautiful flowers, historic buildings, the plantation stableyards, rice mill, chapel, and peaceful pathways that have welcomed visitors for centuries.

After free time for lunch in downtown Charleston, we'll enjoy one of the city's most relaxing experiences.

Cruise through historic Charleston Harbor while learning about the city's fascinating past and enjoying beautiful waterfront views, historic forts, churches, mansions, and colorful coastal scenery.

Day 4 – Charleston's Rich Heritage

Today we'll explore the history and culture that make Charleston so unique.

Discover the powerful stories of the Gullah/Geechee people and gain a deeper understanding of Charleston's history through this carefully preserved historic site.

Later we'll enjoy free time to browse one of Charleston's most famous attractions.

Stretching four city blocks, this National Historic Landmark offers locally crafted gifts, artwork, sweetgrass baskets, specialty foods, and unique souvenirs.

Before returning to the hotel we'll stop for photos at one of the South's most beloved natural landmarks.

Estimated to be more than 400 years old, this magnificent live oak is one of the oldest and most photographed trees in the United States.

Day 5 – Charleston's Elegant Past

This morning we'll enjoy a guided tour of beautiful Charleston.

Discover historic churches, colorful Rainbow Row, waterfront parks, elegant homes, and the fascinating stories that have shaped this remarkable city.

We'll also tour the beautiful:

Built in the early 1800s, this elegant home offers a glimpse into Charleston's rich architectural heritage and the lives of one of the city's prominent families.

Later we'll visit one of the most unique attractions in North America.

🍃 Charleston Tea Garden

Take a fascinating factory tour to see how tea is grown and processed before enjoying complimentary tea samples.

Then relax aboard the included trolley tour as you travel through the beautiful tea fields.

Dinner is included before returning to the hotel.

Day 6 – South Carolina History

Following breakfast we'll begin our journey home with a stop at the:
